39c3 Photo Project

Auf dem 39. Chaos Communication Congress werde ich mein eigenes Fotoprojekt durchführen: In meinem eigenem Stil (ICM-Fotografie) werde ich das Event künsterlisch dokumentieren und begleiten. Hierbei möchte in den Fokus insbesondere auf den Aufbau und die vielen Menschen legen, die den Congress erst zu dem machen, was er ist. Die Ergebnisse werde ich dann als digitale Ausstellung und ggf. auf dem 40c3 präsentieren. Schaut euch doch gerne auch noch einmal meine Fotos vom 38c3 an.

Foto-Policy

Natürlich werde ich bei meinem Fotoprojekt auf die strenge Fotopolicy Rücksicht nehmen. Auf den – übrigens analog geschossenen – Bildern wird durch den ICM Stil schon bei Aufnahme keine Person identifizierbar sein. Darüber hinaus werde ich eine gelbe Warnweste mit entsprechendem Symbol und Kennzeichnung tragen und jede Person, die irgendwie identifizierbar sein könnte oder im Fokus des Motivs steht, vor der Aufnahme um Erlaubnis bitten.

Beispiele, wie ICM-Fotografie aussieht, findet ihr in meinem Portfolio. Durch die längere Belichtungszeit und die gezielte, ruckartige Bewegung der Kamera, werden Personen unidentifizierbar und – je nach Intensität – auch schnell komplett als Personen unerkennbar.

At the 39th Chaos Communication Congress I will carry out my own photography project: in my own style (ICM photography) I will artistically document and accompany the event. Here I especially want to focus on the setup and the many people who make the congress what it is. I will then present the results as a digital exhibition and possibly at the 40c3. Photo Policy

Of course I will respect the strict photo policy during my photography project. In the – btw shot on film – images no person will be identifiable at the moment of capture due to the ICM style. In addition, I will wear a yellow safety vest with the appropriate symbol and identification and will ask for permission before photographing anyone who might be identifiable or who is the focus of the shot.

Examples of what ICM photography looks like can be found in my portfolio. Because of the longer exposure times and the deliberate, jerky movement of the camera, people become unidentifiable and – depending on the intensity – quickly completely unrecognizable as persons.
