Signierter Print meines Bildes Station Guardians.

Über dieses Werk

Station Guardians zeigt den Eingang des Bahnhofes Potsdamer Platz in Berlin in seicht-blauem Dämmerlicht mit drei über dem Eingang thronenden Hochhäusern. Auch dieses ICM-Bild wurde aus mehreren Einzelbildern gefertigt und erzeugt so den abstrakten, leicht verwaschenen Look. Trotz Abstraktheit war es mir bei der Aufnahme aber wichtig, den Schriftzug des Bahnhofes lesbar zu halten. Die Leuchtstoffröhren des Einganges sorgen hier für einen schönen Kontrast zu den beinahe schwarzen Hochhäusern im Hintergrund.

About this piece

Station Guardians shows the entrance to Potsdamer Platz station in Berlin in shallow blue twilight with three skyscrapers towering over the entrance. This ICM picture was also made from several individual images and thus creates the abstract, slightly washed-out look. Despite the abstractness, it was important to me to keep the lettering of the station legible. The fluorescent tubes of the entrance provide a nice contrast to the almost black skyscrapers in the background.
